Today, we had the pleasure of announcing a major strategic collaboration driven by Google Cloud to advance AI capabilities within the Streem platform.
As part of the collaboration between Google Cloud and our parent company, Cision, Streem will integrate Google Cloud’s Gen AI models to expand our platform’s offering for PR and Communications professionals.
Combining Streem's unmatched media intelligence platform with the power of Google Cloud’s AI technology, Streem will unlock a host of meaningful AI, automation and workflow tools designed to save time, add value and enrich insight. We’ve been really careful and considered about AI integration, thinking through what it can do to make our platform better. Our focus remains on enhancing user experience and delivering tangible benefits through smarter, more efficient tools. This collaboration marks an exciting step forward in our commitment to innovation and excellence in the industry.
Our platform is used by over 1,000 of Australia and New Zealand’s largest corporate and government media teams, and we think our new 2025 AI Product Suite presents the next step in media intelligence. Underpinning the value of the media teams’ daily work, rather than replacing the human element of PR and Comms that is crucial to building relationships and crafting compelling narratives.
So, how will Google Cloud AI be implemented in our platform?
- AI-powered Workflows: Simplifying and automating everyday tasks and adding conversational tools within Streem to enable significant time savings for PR and Comms professionals.
- AI Insights: Helping clients to extract detailed commentary and thematics across large clusters of local and global media coverage, summarising and visualising for presentation within a new and enhanced Instant Insights package.
- Predictive Analytics: Enabling teams to analyse data at scale to drive targeted press responses that impact their earned media performance.
Our upcoming AI product suite will complement our existing AI Pitches, proprietary React Score, and Summarisation tools, which we launched in 2024.
- AI Pitches takes the guesswork out of media Outreach, by using workflows custom-built for the purpose of personalising and pitching at scale.
- React Score allows Streem users to swiftly detect and respond to content that might present risks or opportunities for your brand.
- Summarisation uses AI to summarise individual stories in brief or long summaries in our Curated Email Reports, tailoring the report to every team’s unique needs.
