Streem announces exclusive media monitoring agreement with Sky News Australia
Realtime media monitoring company Streem today announced that it has secured exclusive media monitoring rights to 24-hour multi-platform news service provider Sky News Australia.
Streem CEO Elgar Welch said the deal confirmed Streem as Australia’s comprehensive media monitoring service and underpinned the continuity of media access its customers enjoy.
“Sky News Australia is a highly influential broadcaster. From boardrooms to party rooms, corporates to government, we’re delivering customers realtime monitoring from the best platform available.
“The choice is now very clear: if you want comprehensive access to Australian news content, come to Streem.”
The agreement means that from September 1, Streem will be the only media monitoring organisation in the ANZ market able to provide customers with full content from Sky News Australia, including alerts, streaming, downloads and transcripts.
Corporate and government clients use media monitoring services to stay abreast of news and information about their organisation, competitors and industry. With Streem’s launch in 2017, the company disrupted the sector by bringing realtime monitoring technology, new data and insights and a leading platform now used today by hundreds of organisations.
The multi-year deal between Sky News Australia and Streem is an expansion on the two companies existing relationship.
Streem launched its full-service media monitoring platform in 2017, quickly winning blue-chip clients and has been particularly successful within corporate and government, recently renewing every major federal government department customer on multi-year contracts following competitive tender.
In May it launched Streem Social, the first social media intelligence platform designed specifically for communications teams.
